Itinerary: Maras Moray Full Day Tour
Moray: Inca agricultural research complex, where various crops were tested at different temperatures.
Maras: Attractive for its natural sources of salt water, which accumulates in small and multiple pools allowing the extraction of salt, activity from pre-Hispanic.
Our tour begins with pick up from your hotel at 8:20 am in our transport bus. We will travel for 1 1/2 hours to Moray, the location of the farming terraces (note: entrance ticket not included. $20.00 per person). With your guide you will explore the many terrace circles and learn about the history and function of this great Inca archeological site. After Moray we will drive 30 minutes to Maras town for the salt flats (note: entrance ticket also required, 10 soles or $3.00). The salt flats consist of 3,000 small wells, which are filled with salt water coming from a natural source of water located beneath the ground. We will explore the salt flats with our guide for one hour and then return in bus to Cusco.
