Manu zona reservada paraizo natural – 4 dias / 3 noches (bus/bus)

DAY 01: CUSCO – CLOUD FOREST – PAUCARTAMBO – PILCOPATA.-

We pick up from your hotel very early in the morning from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. in our comfortable and private bus. On the way we visit the funeral towers or Chullpas de Ninamarca at 3750 masl and a brief visit to Paucartambo, a folkloric town, a colonial bridge. We ascend to the upper area of Paucartambo, the Acjanaco sector. (4000 m.s.n.m.) This is the entry point to the Manu National Park. Then we descend through the mysterious cloud forest which is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, full of beautiful orchids, heliconias and primitive ferns. We take a walk to give you the opportunity to witness the Cock of the Rock (Rupícola Peruviana) in the mating ritual. There are also possibilities to observe Trogons (Trogon sp.), Quetzales (Pharomachrus sp.) and much more and if we are lucky we can observe Spectacled Bear (Tremantus Ornatos). In the afternoon we arrive at a town called Pilcopata at 550 masl in our typical hostel that is outside the town with private bathrooms and showers where we will spend the night.

DAY 02: PILCOPATA- WATCHTOWER – MACHUWASI-PAITITI LODGE.-

After a delicious breakfast, we continue our bus trip to Atalaya for 45 minutes, at an altitude of 490 meters above sea level, where we will board a boat for 30 minutes to the Paititi lodge where we will spend the night in our typical hostel with private bathrooms and showers. On the way we will observe variety of animals.

After the delicious lunch, in the afternoon we will go to Cocha Machuwasi, where we will ride on a typical catamaran of the area, to observe a great variety of birds such as the Shansho (Ophisthocomus hoazin), monkeys, reptiles, dwarf caimans and insects, and perhaps some capybaras (Hydrochaerus hydrochaeris). At night we have the optional Night Trekking program. Night in hostel with private bathrooms and showers available.

DAY 03: LICK OF PARROTS – COCHA MARAVILLA

Very early we leave by boat to the green parrot clay lick (clay wall with minerals) where 3 to 4 species of parrots can be observed, then we return by boat where we will have a walk inside the forest, thus arriving at the private lagoon or marvel lake from a platform we can observe a variety of birds, monkeys, small reptiles, dwarf caimans and insects. In the afternoon we return to our lodge for lunch. At night we will have nocturnal walks. Night in hostel with private bathrooms and showers.
